In the final phase of our design process, we carry your new brand image into a beautifully styled, ultra-functional website. Over the last year, we’ve fallen deeply in love with Squarespace websites, and recommend them for the majority of our clients. Instead of another long blog post, I thought it would be fun to jump over to Periscope and talk you through the differences between the platforms!

In case you don’t have time to watch the video, here are a couple of highlights:

  1. If you’ve been wrestling with WordPress and can’t get comfortable, stop. Squarespace websites are gorgeous, easy to use and much less expensive to build since we don’t have bring in a developer to code.
  2. Best of all, Squarespace websites are IMPOSSIBLE to break and require NO UPDATES! Holla!!
  3. We are able to preserve a LOT of your existing SEO. We use 301 redirects to maintain 90-95% of the power of your inbound links, and load your site with just as much fabulous content as before. In fact, Rand Fishkin, CEO of SEO authority Moz, recommends the platform himself.
  4. All that being said, WordPress is still a great option, especially for information entrepreneurs. We’re proud to continue offering custom WordPress websites in 2016 as well.

What questions do y’all have about Squarespace, or the web design process in general? We’re all ears in the comments!

Just a quick reminder here that we are now booking brand + website projects for 2016. We are down to our last three spots, so don’t hesitate to get in touch today!
