We’re back for Day 2 of brand week, and I’m especially excited to share this project with you. Our sweet client, Cara bought A Day to Cherish from its previous owner back in 2011. While she liked some aspects of the original logo, she was ready for a refresh and update – to put her own clean, classic style front and center of her brand. We started with an inspiration board (possibly my all-time favorite) to define the clean lines, bright colors and soft romanticism we were craving in this brand.

After completing the mood board, we took a close look at her original logo. We maintained the original calligraphy, but paired it with a more modern font, and refreshed the color palette. We added a darling bow icon to capture the grace and movement of the full logo in a smaller form, and selected a few beautiful complementary fonts.

The Stationery Suite
Next up was stationery. We elected for simple, elegant letterpressed stationery on thick white cotton stock. Heaven!
Cara also wanted a way to welcome her new clients into their boutique wedding planning experience, so we designed a beautiful welcome magazine. Our job was easy here – the gorgeous photos of her work were definitely the stars!
And finally, we extended the brand into a beautiful new Squarespace website. We wanted something that would again show off Cara and her team’s amazing wedding work, respond beautifully on mobile and be easy to maintain. Mission accomplished!
